Heads up!
The day use fee's for california parks are going to jump up to $14 a day (at some places), July 1st. Last year, it was $5.00...the year before $3.00 at Leo Carrillo.
I get the annual day use pass...it was $34 and jumped to $67.00 last year.
It is still $67.00 and ha ha ahhaaaa as mine expires June 31st, I am getting a new one June 1st, as July 1st they go up to $125.00!!!!
I thought the hike to $67 was high last year, until I realised that at $5. a day into Leo Carrillo and other beach/parks meant that after 14 trips, it would be saving me money - as I go there and other parks more than 14 times a year....
Anyway, if you use state park beaches - get the annual day pass before June, for $67 before it jumps to $125, and/or otherwise you'll be paying up to $14.00 a day to get into the park/beaches
