4" PVC sewer pipe...pontoon style...30" or so long.
Finless?, Strakes?...nice edge can be formed by running over pipe with car.
>>
For planing craft...dish soap injection..as needed.. to break surface tension
Air injection?...air hockey meets hovercraft...
>>
Has anyone taken the multitudes of molded snow toys (tobogons, sleds, etc.) into the sea? Many interesting shapes and styles.

Cata-moronic?? I recently bought a 48" tow-in catamaran paipo that I call Catmandoo. Drop knee??? Hell, you can butt ride the thing. It has little dents in the nose for the heels of your feet.

Moronic indeed! It was either that or the rather mundane header, El PVC Pipe-O. Thanks for the pic, Poobah. How wide is your vessel?

Thanks to this thread, I had this dream last night that I was on a pontoon chair, with my cat in my lap, floating around the line-up and the next thing I remember is being totally shacked in the green room of this 12 foot (at least) wave....and it was really great, as I was in there for awhile - just sitting in there in my pontoon chair, yes, with the cat... and then, I started to uh-oh about how the chair would probably get sucked up and over the curtain and I'd get hammered....

Anyway, next thing I know, I'm on the beach recovering from anxiety caused by wondering how the cat was going to hold it's breath...which it managed to do...and we all survived...nothing like the sight of a very wet cat though..

Poohbah, you should contact Quicksilver about sponsoring you for a Cortes Bank trip on that...

To heck with using that in the surf...I've always wanted to take a ClassI-II river float in something like that!

Ha ha!!!

We have real baby GWS at my homebreak...I think I'd stick with the purple so they don't try to get frisky and want to play...

I was thinking, we should prolly have a pool toy surf contest at the PP - S.A event.

Anything goes, inflatable or molded...

Mel Thoman - a nearly identical pic was in a Romo-written article in TSJ vol 8 #3.

handy to have the computer close to the bathroom bookshelf, where the TSJs live.

The mini cat is 25 inches wide. It's only about 2.25 inches at it's thickest (near the sides.) It's got two large concaves flanking a raised center section.
