I'm riding a short, rockerless, parallel profile, cork-deck Summer bellyboard. Something I call a "Ken" board. Mike was riding his new red oak alaia. We swapped boards at one point. Of couse his board being longer, made it around the whitewater sections better than my little board. And by the way...I didn't think the oak board was too heavy. It's thinner than you might imagine, but still feels substantial.
