I've always been curious about surf mats. How big do you think one could try to ride a wave on one of these?

Mats are the cooolest. Cool
I think the right person on a proper mat with good fins can go out in any wave a surfer might try and mats will handle crappy conditions better then any other surfcraft.
If it's really big you can swim out with it deflated and fill 'er up when you get outside.........
