I picked up this board on ebay for $20 it was listed wrong in kids toys they said it was from the 50s maybe someone can give me some more info on it

How'd you beat me on this one, Mr. Mike? For only $20, too.
It looks a lot like a "planky" or also known as a "surfy." You'll see more about these in some upcoming paipo interviews that are in all stages of drafting by Bob Green. Definitely more French looking than UK-style. _________________ rodNDtube

Mike,
You got a bargain. Could be early 50s-60s. Can you tell if it is laminated ply. Also, what how long and wide is it?
It looks like a planky but I haven't seen any with handgrips. It could be a copy of a European board. I'll enquire some more.
Can you ask the seller where they got it or who owned it before them?
