Noticed it's been kinda slow around here too. Hope folks have just been out surfing & not giving up on the Paipo. I've been out of the water for awhile now due to big home renovation projects, lack of good surf, & $4.20 +gas prices. I did manage to make a new board out of my last pieces of recycled plywood and some old paint found in the basement left by previous owners/tenants. Board is 42" x 21", 3/4" thick. No test rides yet.

Jeez...that's about it in a nutshell for me too. Space to build and access to tools comes and goes. Bought an old Aussie-style slab kneeboard off craigslist, Frankensteined previously from a thruster to a single center fin box, and have been rehabbing it as time allows. That's led me to rehabbing old (board) fins and junk floating around the garage. Need to try to find my one and only old surfboard leash. Clearing the decks, seeking new directions or smoother travel on the usual routes. This board should roar as a paipo, can't wait to try it, few more days of work...
