Here are the boards that we made. My son did the crescent tail and i did the fish tail. We can not wait until Sunday to try them out. I sure hope that we have decent surf!

nice job. the beauty is that you dont really need good surf. good surf is great but, you can have just as much fun on these in 1-2 as you can 10-12. have fun! what ply did you use? and watch your nuts, especially on the cresent...

1/2" birch ply from home depot. Yeah,, the tails do make me a bit nervous!

oh ya those will work great in almost enything. look great too now go impress the people on the beach and don't forget to tell them were you got them that the fun part they will say realy!!! Smile Very Happy

Nice work. Hope you get some good waves for your test run. There's definitely some swell out there. Don't know if you saw this before, but you're carrying on an old tradition with that crescent tail board:

My son and I had our maiden voyage on our paipos today. The waves were 1-2' glassy but weak. I really do not know how these things could even catch a wave let alone ride them given their weight and lack of buoyancy, but they did! We had an absolute blast. The fact that we made and surfed them together added to the experience. My son likes it better than his bodyboard and just registered. He is Geico31.
