Love how they used the knots in the wood as the fish eyes...that grain is very nice as well...dang kit in the $600 range...!!!!

i liked the fish eyes as well, my dad used to peel poplar when i was a kid and drew australian marsupials and birds using the knots for eyes..
the UK mag Surfers Path july /aug issue 67 has a good coverage of various timber craftsmen around the orb and is worth a look. check out the article on Paul Joske if you are interested in paulownia.
