Yeah; I've seen photos on Swaylock's and the mat sites.
GG is a skinny little guy and I can see where somebody his size might want a slightly smaller fin. I'm 6'2" 200+lbs. and have fairly strong legs, don't think I'll be trimming mine any time soon. Wink

Just bought a pair of imitation churchills by Hot Buttered must have been from the same mould, the Made in Malaysia stamp same place on both fins. Half the price and no cramps with these too! just hope they don't delaminate like my last churchills did.

My fins of choice are Vipers. For me and my foot shape they're the best combination comfort and stiffness. I've been through soooooo many pairs of fins and Vipers are the only ones that haven't left bloody holes in my feet. I've been thinking of trying out a pair of UDT fins though.

Update on the Manta clones - nice soft fot pocket, used them several hours this last week and they have great thrust for such a comfortable thin without fin socks. I used to use blades in summer and the fit and soft rubber is similar but these have a bit more thrust. My neofins II are very comfortable too but do not drain sand as well and have minimal thrust in comparison, but they do work and pack light and flat for travel.

Toobs Blunts. I started out with Vipers but they were way too tight. After an email exchange with the vendor (and chats with Rod) I've discovered that they do not scale the foot pocket as the size goes up. I know several people using the "XL" (size 12+) who have had to give them up since they're way too tight.

I tried leaving them out in the sun with a couple of tennis balls in the foot pocket to see if they'd stretch - it didn't work.

Churchills....
The Original and the best, so the logo goes.
Took a few years for the sea ulcers to harden up in all spots, been wearing them for over 17 years. The best thing is the more you wear them the softer they get and will mold to your feet, Black and yellow my favourite.

Guys, I'm using VOIT duck feet because I found a pair in a garage sale but Ive found that they fill with water when Im going fast. It sounds like they are good for stalling but they tend to fill at the wrong times and then Im not concentrating on the wave.
I lift my feet but that changes my centre of gravity so any suggestions ??
Thanks, Brett.

some time ago i got these charming fellas for the winter. Got them from a dive store, and the're pretty heavy.
But more importantly, they fit my 7 mill. boots 9which you need cause the water is around the 41 F in winter):

UDT's all the way! You can read why in the UDT thread:
http://rodndtube.com/paipo/forum/viewtopic.php?t=61
I use 'em all the time now even in the smaller 4 or 5 foot stuff.

Those are mine fins. I never found that bodyboard fins give me enough speed and acceleration. I should try Vipers but now I'm used to those ...
I got them from a generalist sport shop. They're light and tight around my feet so I can't wear boots.
On a big day I cut something like 1' on the part that pushes water (the foil ?) which is now 9" long.

I swear by my blue and green duck feet for big and small wave days. The only problem is I keep getting blisters even when wearing socks. I also use yellow viper v5s on medium days.
