Hello all,

i'm building a 6 ft alaia from some plywood i had standing around in the shed. I'm looking forward to see how it goes (still needs to be varnished)!

yes i'd seen it, but thanks for posting the links. It's were i had my inspiration from really Smile Tom Wegener seems to be a great guy and he makes very nices boards.

I must admit that before i saw the footage i had never heard of alaias Very Happy

how's things going in the UK? Cold water allready?

You know it"!!!!! I'm in my 5 mm already. Swell in mid october good though and clean too as we were getting a nice easterley wind (from you guys, thanks!)

This weekend I'm hoping to continue with my balso paipo. I've managed to get hold of a 1.37m(4.5ft) log from the Eden Project that I've had cut into strips. Wife allowing, I'll get the framework glued up. I'll post some pictures on the site.
