I am starting a skim board to paipo project. I am going to use a new triplet x skim board that is a foam core with S glass .54" long 21" wide and .80" thick. I am going to cut 10" off the back and reglass it. The queston is to add small thurster fins or to leave it flat as a halibut belly. this board will cost only $130 and very little work MIKE _________________ PAIPO ON

No opinion regarding fins though I think at that length and probable flotation (not a lot) it won't make too much difference. What I would like to know is how much nose rocker is in this gizmo? |

The rocker is about 1.5" through the first one third of the board. I don't like my boards to flot to much as my surf spots you have to push out through some big surf MIKE _________________ PAIPO ON
