Roger Wayland recently sent in a photo of his latest paipo, which uses a standard fin box on 3/8" baltic birch wood!

That board looks fast just lying in the yard! With that nice square corner on the tail and the deep fin it looks as though you could turn it real well. With all that flat planing surface I'm not surprised that it can speed around sections. Looks as though it might tend to pearl dive a bit easily though...
