I would go with about 48" x 20" 1/2' ply for the bottom and 1/2" to 3/8" for the rails depends on how flexy you like it. thiner = more flex. to thin = broken board. you don't need fins except on your ... |

The wave are small this is the best board for that stuff supper fast and heavy when it get going look out I am coming through. this bamboo ply is some hard stuff almost no flex. I think it is a keeper ... |

You can soak it in hot water then clamp it in a press to the shape you want or take thin sheet of wood about 1/16" thick and make your own ply clamp it in your press when the glue dries it will take t ... |

welcome . for a first plypo I would go with 1/2" birch ply from homedepot cheep and easy to work and also look good
