I keep hearing that we have a lot more sharks on the CA coast these days. The news is saying great for everyone but surfers and swimmers. Is this justa buncha hype or a real concern?

Any Californians have info on the incresase in White sharks in Ca? Is it just hype? Seems like everything I read says its a good thing unless your a surfer.

What was the thickness of the plywood? The spoon was created with only grinded added wood or is the also thin layers of glued ply?

Its 49 1/2" x 24"x 3/8" .......I think 3/8" is too thin for most paipos.....[/img]

39 5/8" x 29 3/8" , 1/2" nose lift, 22 1/8" nose width where curve starts, 25 1/2" wide 20" from tail and 3/8" thick.
