First Encounter - January 2001: Mike
Beck of Pacificwaverider fame and I met at the Santa Rosa skate park. He
had come up to deliver some items for my column, and we spent about 20
minutes or so shooting the shit. What makes this meeting somewhat memorable
was that I had jacked my ankle pretty bad while skateboarding about two
minutes before he showed up. Hope this isn't the start of a trend.
